Kot mladoletni prostovoljec bosanske vojske je preživel grozote vojne in izgubil dom. Predor je omogočil prehod ljudi in dobrin med obleganjem. Edis Kolar describes his childhood in the former Yugoslavia, his wartime experiences, and the role of the Sarajevo Tunnel as a lifeline for the besieged city. As an underage volunteer in the Bosnian army, he endured the horrors of war and lost his home. The tunnel facilitated the passage of people and goods during the siege. After the war, Kolar and his family established a museum dedicated to the Tunnel of Salvation. His goal is to ensure his children live lives free from the war experiences that deeply shaped him as a person.
